MEET ELI MADRONE
I am originally from a rural area where I grew up on farms near small towns, so I know firsthand the struggles and challenges that small-town, rural communities face. As a resident of Oregon for over 20 years, I offer a deep understanding of rural needs and that informs my commitment to addressing the unique needs of Sisters, from supporting local businesses to advocating for sustainable development. My background gives me a genuine connection to the land and the people, making me a strong advocate for the values and priorities that matter most to small-town residents.
I currently serve as the Chair of the City of Sisters Parks Advisory Board, am a parent of a Sisters Elementary School child, a Sisters Parks and Rec. District soccer coach, a Sisters Folk Festival volunteer, and a successful small business owner.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cooking, and discovering the best places to eat wherever i'm traveling.

As owner of Madrone Communication, I work with a wide variety of local Sisters business and as well as companies and nonprofits throughout Oregon and the nation, helping them create, maintain, and expand their web and digital presence.
With over 25 years of experience in non-profits, business improvement districts, hospitality, digital strategy, social media, and more, Eli believes in creating community through relationships and innovation, His work spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, food service, arts, theater, tourism, medical, government, and technology startups.
A proud graduate of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR, Eli has also lived and worked in Maui, HI; Bozeman, MT; and Boulder, CO. His extensive involvement and unwavering dedication make him a trusted advocate for the residents of Sisters.
